Back to School Fair

Join us on Saturday, August 1, for the Mesquite ISD Back to School Fair! Families will receive FREE school supplies, clear backpacks, and an opportunity to connect with helpful student services before the first day of school.

Mesquite ISD will host the Back to School Fair at three locations across the district:

  • Horn High School Location — Horn feeder pattern
  • Poteet High School Location — North Mesquite and Poteet feeder patterns
  • West Mesquite High School Location — Mesquite and West Mesquite feeder patterns

Students should attend the location connected to their feeder pattern. Vanguard students should attend with their home campus feeder pattern.

Event Details

  • 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • One backpack per student
  • Parent/guardian and student must attend together
  • Must be a current Mesquite ISD student
  • Registration is required
  • While supplies last 

At select locations, families may also access:

  • Haircuts
  • Physicals
  • Immunizations

Horn High School Location

3300 E Cartwright Rd, Mesquite, TX

  • Students attending the following schools should attend the Back to School Fair at Horn High School:

    Elementary: Achziger, Cross, Gentry, Henrie, Mackey, Pirrung, Smith, Thompson
    Middle: Berry, Terry, Woolley
    High: Horn High School 

  • Registration is required. Supplies available while they last.

    Please enter through the back parking lot and use the auditorium entrance.

    Reminder
    The parent/guardian and student must attend together to receive supplies.

     

Poteet High School Location

3300 Poteet Drive, Mesquite, TX

  • Students attending the following schools should attend the Back to School Fair at Poteet High School:

    North Mesquite Feeder Pattern

    Elementary: Florence, Lawrence, McKenzie, Motley, Range, Shands, Tosch
    Middle: McDonald, Vanston
    High: North Mesquite High School

    Poteet Feeder Pattern

    Elementary: Austin, Beasley, Cannaday, Kimball, Porter, Price
    Middle: Kimbrough
    High: Poteet High School 

  • Registration is required. Supplies available while they last.

    Please park in the front parking lot and enter by the science hallway.

West Mesquite High School Location

2500 Memorial Blvd, Mesquite, TX 

  • Students attending the following schools should attend the Back to School Fair at West Mesquite High School:

    Mesquite Feeder Pattern
    Elementary:     Black, Hanby, Moss, Rutherford, Shaw, Tisinger
    Middle: Agnew, Wilkinson
    High: Mesquite High School 

    West Mesquite Feeder Pattern
    Elementary:     Floyd, Galloway, Gray, Hodges, McWhorter, Rugel, Seabourn
    Middle: A.C. New, Frasier
    High: West Mesquite High School
