Mesquite ISD

Mesquite ISD Advanced Academics hosted the District Spelling Bee, bringing together some of the district’s brightest students from grades 4–8 for a day filled with impressive vocabulary skills and academic achievement. Student spellers from campuses across the district took the stage, demonstrating months of preparation and dedication. The event was a true celebration of learning and highlighted the strong support of educators and families.

After an exciting competition, the following students earned top honors:

First Place:
Matthew, Rugel Elementary

Runner Up:
Chimdindu, Wilkinson Middle School
