Mesquite ISD Hosts CTE Student Career Fair Connecting Students With Local Employers
Mesquite ISD welcomed more than 300 juniors and seniors from all six high schools to the CTE Student Career Fair at the MISD Professional Development Center (PDC), providing students with opportunities to connect directly with local employers and explore career options after graduation.
The event featured 38 local employers representing a variety of industries and career fields. Students had the opportunity to meet with hiring representatives, learn about available positions, and gain valuable insight into workforce opportunities within the community.
The CTE Student Career Fair is part of the district's continued commitment to preparing students for success beyond high school through Mesquite ISD Career and Technical Education programs that provide real-world experiences and career readiness skills.
By bringing students and employers together in one space, the event helped students build professional connections and explore pathways toward employment after graduation.
