Mesquite ISD Hosts Bi-Annual Realtor Luncheon

Mesquite ISD recently hosted 60 real estate professionals serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex for its bi-annual Realtor Luncheon. The initiative is designed to connect real estate partners with district leaders and provide an inside look at the opportunities available to students across MISD.
This semester’s luncheon put two Career & Technical Education (CTE) groups at the forefront – the Horn High School real estate and culinary arts pathways. Students in the real estate pathway had the opportunity to network with professionals in their field of interest, and Horn culinary students catered the event. Showcasing these programs gave attendees a firsthand look at the skills and career preparation students are gaining through our CTE programs.
Attendees also heard from Superintendent Dr. Ángel Rivera and learned more about the opportunities students are afforded, bond project updates and the district’s recent successes. We also want to extend a special thanks to Credit Union of Texas for sponsoring the event.
As Mesquite ISD continues to grow its network of real estate partners, events like this help ensure professionals have the latest information and a deeper understanding of the district to confidently share MISD’s story with their clients.
