The National Stuttering Association (NSA) is the largest non-profit organization in the world dedicated to bringing hope and empowerment to children and adults who stutter, their families, and professionals, through support, education, advocacy, and research.

Mesquite ISD is proud to announce that the NSA-Mesquite Family Chapter will be meeting four times this school year at 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Student Support Center – 714 E. Kimbrough St., Mesquite, TX 75149.

Our Family Chapters are the place to meet other kids and teens who stutter and their parents. Meeting people face to face is the greatest way to learn that if you stutter, you are not alone.  Parents are encouraged to participate in the groups and are required to stay with minor children. Each meeting consists of a group session followed by break-out sessions for both parents and children.
